This ministry is a fitness center used as another part of the York Regional Dream Center to glorify and build the Lord's Kingdom. As a physical, emotional, and spiritual connection, the Lord's Gym Ministry is here to help "Bring them in, Build them up, and Send them out." By your support and donations, the Lord's Gym Ministry will be able to enhance your fitness on EVERY level.

Current Needs for the Lord's Gym Ministry: Volunteer Support Staff - details include meeting and greeting new members, giving tours, explaining the rules and policies of the ministry, willing to introduce the ministry aspect of the YRDC to others, praying with and for individuals, as well as general cleaning duties. Adopt-A-Block trains and mobilizes small armies of devoted followers of Christ to go into neighborhoods of poverty, in order to meet basic needs and build relationships – all for the cause of Christ!  This ministry is for volunteers who understand that painting a fence or giving someone a shirt can be ways to reach a soul with the Good News of Jesus Christ! Adopt-A-Block currently serves three neighborhoods in York, Shrewsbury and Stewartstown, with more to come! Teams meeting in York every Monday during the summer and Saturday during the winter, at Shrewsbury Courtyards every Thursday and in Stewartstown on Wednesday. Please Contact Allen and Karen for more information!

Serving opportunities:  Enthusiastic volunteers who will commit to visiting a particular neighborhood each week with a team and to serve at community events., administration, publicity, community liaisons and event coordinators.
The Community Closet is a vital and active support ministry to directly benefit those in need by providing the basic material necessities for everyday life with grace, compassion, and non-judgment.   Our goal is to make gently used clothing and household items easily available to individuals and families who are financially challenged, all for the purpose of building relationships. The Community Closet is open to the public. Donation bins are located on the back side of the building.
Serving opportunities:
Volunteers from area churches to staff the center, build relationships, gather, sort, organize goods and pick-up large items from donors.
